Hi there! This is one of the three songs on "Everything
Must Go" that was written by Richey. He co-wrote a few 
others on the album as well but you probably know that.
Kevin Carter was a photographer who took a picture of a 
vulture  standing near a dying child. This photo won him
the Pulitzer prize and he became very famous. He was not 
happy and so killed himself because he couldn't live with 
the thought that instead of helping the child he 
photographed it and left it to die.
